FAQ

  • Q Why Use A Stump Planer?

A 1. It is much cheaper than buying a dedicated stump grinder or a stump grinder attachment for skid steer loaders. 2. Use the equipment you already have to expand your current capabilities. 3. Quickly save money by doing it yourself instead of hiring a tree service to do it for you, plus you'll always have the attachment for future use when you need it again. Incorporates 3 cutting blades and a starter tip. 4. The cutting blades and starter tips can be sharpened and/or replaced as needed, so you can count on a long service life from this tool. 5. The starter tip guides the planer through the stump, while guides on the edge of the blade prevent the attachment from jumping off the stump. 6. This clever design allows the brushcutter to drill up to 18" into the stump and soil, ensuring that your stump will be permanently removed. 7. Traditional stump grinders are not capable of going as deep as this tool, so they are not as effective for stump removal.
  • Q How do you package it?

A We use uniform non-fumigated wooden boxes. and we wrap them with film so that they do not get dirty easily.
  • Q How to choose the right drive for stump planer?

A The 12" stump planing auger requires an earth auger drive unit that can produce at least 3,000 foot-pounds of torque and the 16" requires an earth auger drive unit that can produce at least 5,500 foot-pounds of torque. Our stump planer augers are also not compatible with 3 Point PTO Augers for tractors. We would recommend that the 12" diameter stump auger bit would be best suited on most standard flow drive units. The big 16" stump auger bit would be best matched up to one of the many high torque drive units we produce. Either of these sizes would be a great match to one of our two speed drive units as well.
  • Q What's the advantage to use a stump planer?

A By adding this stump auger bit to your arsenal of attachments you can safely grind stumps down without the mess, noise and danger that a conventional stump grinder produces.
  • Q How do I sharpen stump planer blades?

A 1) Disassembly. Follow the disassembly procedure in the product manual. 2) Grinding. Using a bench grinder fitted with a “Green” Silicone Carbide, make several small passes against the cutting face ensuring that the cutting edge angle is maintained at 50 degrees.
  • Q How many blades is there on your stump planer?

    A 3pcs blades
  • Q Can I grind a stump myself?

A There are several ways to remove tree stumps from your yard, including manual labour, chemicals and burning. You can also rent a stump planer or make it easy on yourself, albeit at a cost, by hiring a professional to do the job.
  • Q Can we remove a stump with an auger?

A The stump planer from RAY Attachments is designed to grind stumps safely, without mess and without noise. The drill is available in 12" (250mm) and 16" (300mm) diameters. The company recommends the 12" size for standard flow drives and the 16" for one of the company's high-torque drives.
  • Q What is orange peel grapple advantage?

A Double ball joint cylinders, hydraulic damping. Main frame in special fine grain steel. Geometry with long levers, designed to obtain maximum power and closing speed. Extra-large pivot points and oversized pins for maximum reliability. Precise construction, solid stops both in opening and closing. Total ram protection, sealed by O-rings HARDOX 400 anti-wear steel teeth and tips State-of-the-art built-in hydraulic rotator
  • Q Which country have you been exported?

    A Europe, America, Asia.etc
  • Q Why Orange peel grapples the best choice to handle bulk materials?

A Orange peel grapples are gripping devices made up of a central frame on which 3 to 6 teeth are hinged. Each tine is moved by an independent hydraulic cylinder. All cylinders are connected to a single hydraulic circuit, which coordinates the opening and closing of the tines. Thanks to this conformation, when closing, all the teeth work with the same pressure force, although each of them can stop in a different position. For this reason, polyp grapples provide a firm grip on irregularly shaped objects, making them the most effective tool for handling loose materials such as scrap metal, municipal solid waste, industrial waste, production waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, firewood and tyres. Scrap grabs are also suitable for collecting scrap cars, large stones and boulders. The teeth, or jaws, come in three different shapes, depending on the width: closed, semi-closed (standard), and open. Standard tines are the most versatile, open tines are used for loading loose material and closed tines are for handling fine grained material. The geometry of the grapple derives from years of experience and is designed to guarantee maximum penetration into stacked materials and maximum load capacity.
  • Q How to mounting the orange peel grapple?

A Orange peel grapples, such as grab buckets, log grapples, kerbstone grapples and hydraulic forks, should be mounted to the running machine by a universal joint that allows oscillation in the longitudinal and lateral direction ("pendulum" style). This differentiates them from sorting and demolition grapples, which are instead mounted to the excavator arm via a rigid connection system.
  • Q How to chosse Orange Peel Grapple

    A According to excavator weight
  • Q What can Orange Peel Grapple do?

A Orange Peel Grapple is the perfect solution for material handlers in scrap yards, recycling plants and transfer stations. A 360° rotation system and 4- or 5-tine configuration efficiently and safely handle shredded scrap, waste, long structural beams, car bodies and many other materials.

  • Q What about the S jaws advantage about Demolition Grapple?

A S-jaws for sorting. Demolition and sorting grapples with plate-reinforced S-jaws are designed for recycling applications. Loose material does not stick so easily between the ribs. The jaws are very strong and are also suitable for demolition applications.
  • Q Which country have you been exported?

    A Europe, America, Asia.etc
  • Q How many weight excavator can use our Demolition Grapple?

A Demolition Grapples are heavy-duty grapples designed for the demands of demolition - all sizes available to suit machines as small as 3 tonnes, up to 45 tonnes, various jaws/teeth available with replaceable bolt-on teeth .
  • Q what is hydraulic breaker chisel material

A Material: 42 Chrome Molybdenum CNC machine to make it more precise Full control of the entire heat treatment process All quality control data have been recorded and kept for more than 3 years for easy monitoring. ISO 9001 quality assurance and CE certification The special process ensures the hardness of the whole chisel and the proportion is even. (whole, quenched, segmented tempered) Paint is usually done by spraying two or three coats, rather than skipping the process or just spraying one coat.
