Cutting function In addition to the timber grapple, the saw grapple is available with a cross-cutting function, optionally with a chainsaw or a fixed blade. A chainsaw can cut, but does not prevent completely filling the grip shells with wood. The fixed blade, on the other hand, gets in the way when moving multiple logs or branches and is not suitable for skipping a lot of wood.

A stem is broken and bent into multiple logs (often called a "fixed-length cutting" system). A tree is first either grabbed and cut at the bottom or the cut stem is lifted and then the stem is fed into the cutting head using a feed roller. As the stem passes through the head, a debranching knife cuts the branch from the stem. The bar saw cuts the stem to the specified length.

We equip each set of logging machines with an intelligent electronic control system program, you can set the cutting length independently in the software program. The max cutting diameter is 64cm, the max guide bar length is 75cm. The information on the display is tree diameter, wood set length, accumulated working time, etc. There are 8 buttons on the handle representing different functions.
